Tell us what you need in your wardrobe and we will prepare a pattern for your desired top or dress customized for your own measurements (that you get to keep after the class). Sustainable fabrics, tools, home sewing machines and snack will be provided.

This project requires a basic knowledge of using the sewing machine. Send us a reference picture of what you would like to make and a few words about what projects you sewed before and we can help find the right piece to match your sewing level. If this is your first project ever after learning to use the sewing machine, we will recommend a beginner-friendly design.

♦ a dress or top adapted to your style, created with your chosen fabric (provided by us or feel free to bring your own if you prefer);

♦ a paper pattern customized to your measurements;

♦ a PDF with sewing instructions to help you easily recreate your piece at home with different design variations;

♦ notions about fabric cutting, sewing and manipulation that prepare you for more advanced stretch projects;

♦ sewing & finishing techniques that you can apply also on other types of garments;

♦ a professional picture with you wearing your project.

When & Where

The classes take place in our shared upcycling atelier on Friedrichstrasse 23A, 10969 (close to Checkpoint Charlie).

Each class consists of 1 session of 7 h + a 30 minutes break.

Regular group classes consist of a maximum of 3 participants per class, to offer everyone individual learning time and a complete understanding of the sewing process.

Home sewing machines, all the sustainable fabrics & trims needed, a paper pattern, all tools, and snacks plus sewing instructions for home are included.
