From mending, patching, covering stains & holes, to simple alterations such as shortening, lengthening, tightening, to adding pieces of fabric or simple elements, we will assist you in making the alterations you want to your most beloved pieces.

As the time needed for altering your pieces can vary, we recommend bringing between 3 - 5 pieces for simple repairs and 1 - 2 pieces for more complex alterations. The rhythm of completing your project/projects depends on factors such as project difficulty, fabric difficulty, skill level. We cannot guarantee all the projects you bring will be finished in the given 3 hours session.

Not recommended for beginner projects

• tightening of jeans, winter coats or other pieces from heavy weight fabrics;

• alterations on clothes from fine, synthetic fabrics (satins, organzas, chiffons, crepes);

• refitting for pieces that are more than 1-2 sizes bigger.

The class (one session) can be taken usually on a weekday evening, between 18:00 – 21:00 (3 h).

The classes take place in our shared upcycling atelier on Friedrichstrasse 23A, 10969 (close to Checkpoint Charlie).
